Jefferson Middle School is doing some amazing things!
Ms. Daniels, 8th grade history teacher, received a grant from the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce for books! And we love books! These books will supplement her lessons on the US Constitution and give our 8th graders more access to deeper understanding! Congratulations, Ms. Daniels!
Dr. Nicholson received a grant for over $700! The grant will supply our science classes with a robotic arm, model rocket, and remote control airplane to teach aerospace and science! Way to go, Dr. Nicholson!
Ms. Meza, 7th grade science teacher, was selected to participate in the "Voyage to the Galapagos" project! This is an interactive study where students can "travel" to the Galapagos to study the wildlife and learn about the ecosystems from our computer labs! Great opportunity! Congrats, Ms. Meza!
